Suitable for students in year 6 to year 8, the live stage shows will cover the history of science, explore different materials and get up close with creepy crawlies.

Live stage shows are free to attend at The Big Bang Fair.

All shows will have live BSL interpretation.

Welcome to the stage our amazing animals inspiring our engineers and scientists.

This Biomimicry stage show will have you meet a gecko with very special feet, a cockroach with some very strong bones and a snake whose venom could become a cure!

This fun stage show explores materials and how they stand up to a falling weight, we bring a few budding engineers up to try their hand at engineering a paper shield and we see all the animals and hear all about the amazing ways we humans are learning from them.
